Quality Policy

The Grupo Tav Food is a business group dedicated to:

Marketing, storage, and distribution of containers and packaging for the food and produce sectors.

The Grupo Tav Food recognizes and is committed to quality and environmental standards in its operations; therefore, management has established the following management principles:

• Meeting the expectations of our customers and stakeholders in all aspects of our operations, ensuring transparent communication and addressing any potential environmental impact.
• Use it as a framework for establishing and reviewing strategic quality and environmental objectives , as defined in the scope, as the basis for the continuous improvement of our activities, aimed at optimizing logistics processes and reducing the environmental impact of our packaging.
• Maintaining communication—both internally and with customers, management, and other stakeholders—regarding all aspects of the management system.
• Protect the environment by minimizing significant negative impacts, with a particular focus on the life cycle of our products, and by promoting the use of recyclable, biodegradable, or compostable materials.
• Compliance with legal requirements regarding quality, food safety, and sustainability; commitments made to customers; and all regulations applicable to our business.
• Promote energy conservation and the responsible management of all waste generated, prioritizing recycling through authorized waste management companies and optimizing our routes to reduce our carbon footprint.
• Assess and ensure the technical competence of personnel, encouraging their training and motivation so that they understand their direct contribution to the system’s effectiveness and product safety, and act proactively through the ongoing assessment of risks and opportunities, ensuring that the Management System is preventive.
• Ensure that facilities are in good condition and that appropriate equipment is available, so that they are consistent with the organization’s activities and objectives.
• Ensure that facilities and equipment are in good working order, basing decision-making on an analysis of the indicators for each significant process, and defining in each specific case the actions to be taken based on the results obtained and those expected.

These principles are adopted by Management, which ensures that it has the necessary resources for their fulfillment, setting them out and making them publicly known through this Policy.

The approval of this Quality and Environmental Policy means that all persons and areas mentioned throughout the IMS documentation have the responsibility and obligation to carry out the activities assigned to them.
